MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

well my dear friends and family how are you all doing? im doing so good. today i dropped my companion elder silveira off at the bus stop, and he is on his way home after two years. KAMEN IS HOME...thats old news for all of you, but today was the first time i saw the pictures so im stoked for him.  this week ill be skyping home on christmas day, so im very very excited to talk to my family. man i miss you guys, but there really is nothing better than the mission. so today as a christmas treat we got to watch two movies, we watched monsters university, and wreck it ralph both in spanish but it was awesome. its the first time ive watched a movie or even t.v in a year and 2 months. crazy. 

so for the next week im in a trio of missionaries, hanging around with a guy named elder goold and elder muhsltien. and funny enough elder muhsthein finishes his mission in 4 days, but when i began the mission in Rivera i lived in a house of four missionaries, and elder muhlstein lived there. so he was there to see me finish my mission, and now ill be there to see him finish.

we ll be eating so much this next week. the problem is that lamb is the christmas food here... and as of right now almost every house has a lamb tied up in front, because they buy it alive then kill it themselves to cook...its terrible, but everytime we talk to people we ask them if its their pet lamb, and what they named it. they always look at us like we re stupid, and tell us that it doesnt have a name, but its still funny.

well my friends and family, please take a moment and remember why it even is that we have christmas, The birth of Jesus Christ, is both miraculous, and joyful. for just a few days we stop to forget the world, join our families and celebrate the birth of the very Son of God. I remember christmas`s as child, the magic, the fun, the love, and although we dont believe in santa anymore, the magic can still be felt if we focus on Christ, and giving gifts the Him, instead of recieving worldly gifts.
