McDonalds, Rain and Unity

hey people! great week, so this week is tranfers week, and that is why im writing tuesday and not monday. this week was awesome, we spent 3 days in the captial in montevideo recieving training, and now this next coming week we will be trainig the zone on what we learned. the main focus we working together with members here in the cities. we ate SOOOOOOO good while we were there though, we had enchiladas, sloppy joes, french toast (not in that order) but food that you dont find here, and it was so good to eat. its been a while. so funny story, we show up to montevideo and in the bus terminal theres a mcdonalds and we thought it would be awsome to eat there, but other missionaries arrived and they wanted to walk in the city to burger king...well we caved and decided to go to burger king. they told us its "only a few blocks" well we head out, get down about 3 blocks, and the rain starts pouring so hard, we said "hey lets turn back" and they said it was only a few more blocks and we d get there faster than turning around. 14 blocks later we get to burger, soaking wet with no othe clothes for the time we were going to be in deo, and so we order but have to call taxis in order to make the time deadline to be at the hotel by 10 30. so we ate fast, got taxis showed up to the hotel late soaking wet. moral of the story. DONT FOLLOW THE CROWD. haha mcdonalds was right there but we followed the crowd and paid the price. on the other side of things, we learned during the meetings about the importance of unity. we can accomplish more if we unite ourselves witht those serving around us. Christ commanded the 12 apostales to have no contention among them, because its pride, and contention that satan uses to destroy the purposes of God. when it comes down to it, when its a decision between being right, and accomplishing the goal of being unified, we just have to swallow it and humble ourselves. TODAY IS THE DAY! i know it because ive felt it. time is short, the saviors coming again soon, the night is coming, dont procrastinate anything. love you guys
