Happy Easter

happy easter family and friends. it was an AMAZING easter. so this past week, was great, we spent most of the week, making visits of course. The people we are teaching right now are amazing. One is named bryan, and is a 17 year old kid. Hes the only one in his family that is listening to us right now, his dad is very agaisnt any belief in God or practice of religion, but bryan says he doesnt care, and participates anyway. He went with us to a bible study class that is called seminary at 6 in the morning today. I spent 4 years going to that class... let me tell you, it still stinks getting up at 5:30 in the morning to go. but it was worth it to go for bryan so he would feel comfortable going for the first time. Yesterday we made a visit to a lady named dalseira, shes a mother of two, but has a bone disease and the doctors dont know whats wrong, and has a family history of death from the same disease. We took a picture of Christ as an easter gift and she was very very thankful. It is AWESOME doing nice things for people just to make them happy. best feeling in the world. so we had a lesson with various families in a "family home evening" and the lesson went like the following. we bought a cookie for every person that was going to be there, while i went down into push up position my comp elder bedke offered a cookie to each person, and whether they accpeted or not i had to do 15 push ups. i dont know how many i did (over 100... nbd) but either way i came out of the lesson proud... but sore. lesson being, Christ atoned, or paid the price for our sins wheter we accept it or not. when we dont accept, we lose out, when we do accept, it is gratifying to Him to see us appreciate His gift. Its ilogical to waste it away. I love you guys, stay safe, happy easter. Love, elder myers
