The Mission Feels Like Daily Life

Hey family and friends,Well i have made the move, and here i am in Cerro montevideo, and its been an awesome experience, i only have a week here, but its amazing. change of course is always hard, and i miss the people of tacuarembòl. The biggest difference here is the humility of the people. this is by far the poorest area i have been in as a missionary. The people here i very very kind, and more open to listen to us, and thats probably been the biggest highlight, as well the members of the church, here i very kind and helpfull. My new companion is a brazilian named elder caires franca cool kid, has a year and a little bit in the mission. i live in house with 6 missionaries, and it is NUTS. so much louder and harder to maintain clean as my other houses have been but at the same time, its a lot more fun too. Yesterday was the LAST phone call home, and it was awesome, just sitting and talking for an hour is a HUGE treat and blessing for me. although i think the biggest difference between this phone call and the other 3 is this time, i felt like just another phone call home, no different than if i were at college, or just calling to chat. It felt like being here in the mission was 100percent normal daily life. and that was pretty cool. Well my fellow loved ones. until next week, elder myers
