The Fruit Tree

I love the story of the fruit tree. That grew, and grew, and grew until its branches were long, its leaves abundant, it grow so big, and only saw a future full of sunny days, and more growth. Then enters of the gardener, and begins to cut away, branch by branch, little by little, until the once great tree, stood almost barren of leaves, its branchs almost gone, it stood barren and small. The tree cries out WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS TOO ME. DID YOU NOT SEE HOW BIG I HAD GROWN. the gardner waits, he knows what waits. Time moves on, days, weeks and then months pass the seasons begin to change, and there the tree stood. the gardner returns and now gives his explanation. > > i never needed big trees, with many leaves. look at your limbs, do you not see what has taken place. you have given that which is much more precious, that which i needed most, you have given, fruit. > > Friends and Family there is the shame of God and the shame of the world, the shame of the world comes from basing your self worth in the opinion of others, basing your self worth in being better and satisfying your pride. its a life full of sin, emptiness, and many nights laying in bed when no one else is there, and feeling hollow, like theres no reason, or purpose in what your doing. > > then there is the shame of God, it inspires change, it creates a desire to repent, and be better. It causes us to grow, and to give fruit. when we base our self confidence in the simply question what does Christ think of me, we will find acceptance, love, and purpose. > > Being a strong leader, or even a strong christian in general, is based in building your life on the Rock of Christ, that means your self confidence and self worth. I know if im choosing the right and i feel peace, knowing im doing the best i can, no other opinion matters. > > love you guys, stay in the fight, and build your lives on a sure foundation.
